It's been a busy three weeks for sure with supercolds through the whole family, (including grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles, you name it.) tax time, doctor and dentist visits, out of town family visits, a birth, a death, birthdays, engagements, an attempted vacation and a broken camera to top it all off. And all of the normal daily life on top of that.
Busy enough that I've crafted almost nothing, mostly baking and thinking up excuses to run upstairs and visit and snuggle my new tiny niece. Lily Victoria, born on Valentine's afternoon.
But now we're all feeling pretty much back to ourselves and the days are getting back to their normal level of crazy.
I have a lot to catch up on.
First, I'm in for Pay it Forward!
I can't for the life of me find who originated this, but I love the idea and had to join in the fun. Here's a quote that sums it up nice:
"I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week… LOL… but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog."
That's it. If you're interested, let me know. And just so it's not a photo-free post:
(big favourites in our house right now: Elmer by David McKee, and shortbread by Amy Karol's recipe here.)
ps: I apologize for all the comments on all the week old (and older) posts I'm leaving at your blogs. I'm playing catch up!
