The last of the frozen strawberries we picked last summer were calling to me. How could I resist!
I just cooked down the berries with a little cornstarch, (I don't like runny pies) then cut some refrigerated pie crust into little circles with a jam jar. Spoon a bit in, flop it over and seal it with a fork. egg wash it up and bake at 425 or so until all golden-y. I wish I had had some coarse sugar to dust them with!
