There was lots of peeking at every stall and loud declarations of what was inside every one.
We saw many many pretty llamas and alpacas.
The poultry and rabbit tent was disgracefully small from what it used to be when I was a little girl. For one thing, it used to be two tents. But this may be the cutest rabbit I've ever seen. Look at the stubby ears!
And this chicken was messing around. Forget about sitting on the egg. She was letting people know she was serious about not giving this one up.
Harry went on his first ever carnival ride. Hooray for Dizzy Dragons! (...or was it dinosaurs...?)
William took a short intermission.
What's a fair without oversize treats?
Add to that a petting zoo, bull riding,(which is impossible to photograph) fried food from a trailer and a pretty decent country band heard from a blanket, and this was the perfect summer trip to me. This was always a big trip when we were kids, so bringing the family there now that I'm the mum means so much to me.And we stayed long enough for the boys to see all the lights go on.
And it was extra awesome because there were some pretty quick winds and the dark clouds were moving rather fast behind all the neon. I was wishing for a video camera.
Where are you minitrips to this summer?
Remember! Tomorrow is I love to be outside day. If you want to join in, leave me a comment and I'll link to your post! Have a great day everyone!

Aw! William looked so peaceful and cuddly. As did the bunny.
On the other hand, Harry looked like he was sugar-rushing!
You guys must've had a blast.
What FUN! I love the fair!
I just love summer fairs and that ice cream looks sooo yummy. My minitrips this summer pretty much involve driving to graduate school and back. But in between classes, I do head to the beach and farm!
