it was the first Rochester Farmer's Market of the season and although we nearly froze to death in the rain, we sold about two thirds of our honey which is a good thing and a bad thing because we'll only have enough to do one more week. Look for us selling eggs instead. Here's our sad little soggy display.
We were so happy to see all the other vendors and to meet Anne of BeeHandmade. She has super adorable girly-ness for those of you lucky enough to have girls. You should see her etsy shop! I adore this dress. and these clippies. and her adorable ribbon barrettes. Come to the market to see them. Okay, enough drooling....
And then a very special boy turned two. (two!? how did that happen?) And celebrated with cake and goodies and and cousins and friends.
And then I got to sneak out with a bunch of other mommy friends for sushi and drinks and give them all their prayer pillows. They're new and recycled fabric and I think they may be a new crafting addiction for awhile. And Mother's Day which was full of the whooole family, lots of flowers, more drinks and (even though everyone thinks they're ugly) my great mum's day gift from my mum:
Pink Crocs!
And the winner of the mother's day pillow is Cheryl. and Anne. and Miss Kitknitty whose name I don't know. With only three people entering, (Miss Simone politely declined) I think I'll just make some more. Email me your addresses at elizsleto@verizon.net, and I'll get them in the mail.
Hope everyone's weekend was as fun as mine.

That honey looks delicious. I love the jars. Your little boy looks really sweet too! You have been very busy with making the pillows!
I love my crocs! Everyone does seem to think they're ugly but I think they're cute. And they're the most comfortable shoes in the world! My husband thought they were ugly too until I bought him his own, now that's pretty much all he wears.
I don't suppose I could get a bottle of your honey, huh? Because that would be awesome!
Gee, thanks about the pillow. I'll email you with my addy.
Happy Mother's Day, a day late.
I think that your "sad little soggy display" looks great! I love fresh honey!
I loved your display, and thanks for the bloggerific shout-out! BTW, all the cool kids are wearing Crocs.
My Dad keeps bees...I'm fascinated by the whole thing....
